Summer Activities.
As much as I would like DS to take music lessons, piano lessons in particular, I just can’t convince him. Even bribing him with toys, books and heil sound microphones even won’t make him agree. Oh well what can I expect. I was likewise “asked” by my parents to try out piano lessons. And I did. But since I didn’t find it interesting, I stopped just when I was about to have a recital. He likes to try swimming and painting instead.
Randomness.
I wish there was something scrap-related that I can post on this blog. Sad to say, I haven’t produced a single page for this year. I am planning to do project life, can’t decide if I’d do it traditionally or digitally. I am leaning towards digitally though as it is much cheaper but takes a while before I can see the finished product as I need to finish the whole book before I can have it printed. Plus going online and doing anything computer-related had to take a backseat. Hopefully summer vacation will give me plenty of time. And the search for the cheapest Wholesale Insurance is on top of my list.
Random.
I’m not sure if it’s the connection or my laptop, but the speed is just so painful. I swear I could have been finished with my work had this connection been working properly. I have so many online to-do’s and I won’t be able to accomplish them with this speed. I can’t even renew my Flickr as I am afraid that the connection will give up in the middle of my transaction. Good thing my favorite shopping site is accessible, I can check for cherry keyboard and stuff. I badly need to do a little shopping therapy.
It’s Summer.
It is summer officially. The weather at times can be so unbearably hot. Nonetheless, I am still looking forward for summer vacation. DS is having an almost week-long vacation as he is nursing a fever with colds. I, as well, has been on a break. I am just sneaking in a few minutes to look for graduation gifts for my niece and nephew. I just get them the leather wallet I saw online since I really don’t have the luxury of time to stay online.
Talk About The Weather.
I am not sure if I still like the cold weather we are having right now. Sure I don’t get hot and sweaty, but it really does make my skin so dry. I haven’t found the lotion that I can tolerate (I just hate the sticky feel that lotion gives.), but I am now trying several soaps and body washes to see which one moisturizes best. I have Ivory, Dove and Body Shop’s Moringa body wash. I am so close to trying out the egyptian magic cream I came across recently. It is made of 100% natural ingredients, enough for me to consider trying it out. I am hoping to give Ilog Maria a visit too as I love their soaps as they don’t seem to dry my skin. They do have online ordering, but I want to personally choose my soaps.
Freebies Coming Soon.
As much as I would like to hunt and post freebies here, I can’t do that right now. It has been a long while since I’ve done that as I have been busy with a lot of things. Anyway, my internet connection is a pain and I’m getting very impatient waiting for a page to load. I can’t wait to look into the western boots at BootCity.com that a friend is talking about. But it does seem that I can’t do anything online right at this moment. So many things to do, so many files to download {oh yes, did some scrap shopping last week!}, so very slow connection. ;(
January is my Fave Month.
When it comes to shopping, that is. Almost every mall is having a sale. Some of the stores are even holding a month-long sale. And since I never got myself anything last Christmas, I did a bit of shopping this month.
I was able to get a few tops and pairs of pants. I might even go on a mall tour to search for the same exact pair of pants that I recently bought. It’s because I rarely get to find a pair that fits me well, and now that I have I might as well get another pair or two. It’s on sale so the more reason I should get another one. I am likewise loving the pieces of lingerie I got on sale. 
Lacking.
Pardon the lack of updates. Aside from this blog being temporarily unavailable for a couple of days, I was not able to find the time to make a better post. Right now I am looking into report designer online, and it gave a few minutes to check out my poorly-maintained sites.
I badly need to scrap so I can share something worthwhile here. I might try out project life, but I will do it digitally. I will just use whatever photos that I have. And I will not pressure myself to keep a record of every little thing and take photos every single day just so I will have something to scrap. Or else I will not enjoy the process and just give up on it. Scrapping is a hobby of mine so it should make me happy not stressed or pressured.
MIA.
I have been MIA for almost a month. Thanks to the virus that attacked my blogs, they had to be disabled temporarily by my host. Thus the lack of posts. As if I am updating regularly. For some reason, I somewhat lost my mojo to blog, probably because there are much reasons to write posts, if you know what I mean. I hope this year will be more productive, work-wise, so I will have the budget to shop for stuff, xbox wireless adapter included. And I want to try the project life, am eyeing several scrapping goodies. I so want to shop.
