Just Because.
Just because all of my blogs have my old photos on it.
Old Photos.
Friends have been posting old photos in Facebook. While it is fun reminiscing and looking at those photos, I cannot deny that some of them make me cringe. How I wish a friend would take down a photo of me pre-braces, with curly hair {I had my hair curled at that time as I was getting tired of having it straight.}, and obviously needing apidexin to lose some extra fats. And for some reason, I wasn’t also smiling in the photo which was so unlike me. And did I mention that the photo was taken in a studio. It was really bad, I’m not sure if I’d have the courage to share it. Hahahaha!
Wishing.
My heart is beating fast. Another item has just been added to my ever-growing wish list. Aside from wishing for an easy ab workout so I can have a flat tummy, I want a new camera. Presenting, a pink Panasonic Lumix GF1.
If only this wasn’t so expensive. Sigh. It makes me glad that I didn’t get a new bag as I just found something that I would happily spend money on.
Making Postcards.
Here is my boy busy making his postcards. He thought of creating postcards when he came across his stamp stickers. He said that he would like to make postcards for his teachers and friends.
He thought of all the names in the postcards. My job was to help him with the spelling of some of the names. He loves doodling and making little things, even digitally. I guess I should get a newer printer so I can have his digital works printed, as well. So timely, I am helping out a friend look into various printers. She’s looking for a tm-t88iv POS printer though. Anyway, I’m sure my son will love to see his digital drawings printed.
Postcards.
Here are the works of my crafty little boy. He saw his stamps stickers and thought of creating letters and postcards for his friends. He was the one who thought of all the names, and he just would just ask me once in a while to help him with the spelling of the names. I miss creating little trinkets like these. I used to make some for friends before. But right now, I am a bit busy with the house. I am browsing the internet for ideas for our very boring front yard. I wonder if outdoor fireplaces will work. Maybe, additional plants and outdoor chairs and table will do the trick.
Yum.
I have no new photos to share just yet. Blame it on my slow internet connection. So I thought of posting some old photos.
Back in the days when I was maintaining only one blog and I could afford to make a layout, even just a simple one, of the photos that I want posted in my blog.
He used to enjoy eating on his own. It’s an entirely different story now during mealtimes. ![]()
Mirror Shot.
I always take a picture of me and my son every opportunity I get. Mostly the shots are from Sonya’s Garden, though. This one’s taken at Sonya’s again last weekend. I don’t think I can post more closeup shot of me though. I need to find the acne solution that works for me first before I get to do that. Anyway, it was an impromptu trip to Sonya’s. We were supposed to meet some friends in Tagaytay that day. But since they were a bit late, and my boy was getting a little cranky, and we were so hungry already, we decided to eat at Sonya’s instead. Not a very good thing to do, I know. But we enjoyed our yummy lunch, nevertheless.
My Latest Addiction.

{snagged from http://www.fox.com/}
I am loving Glee right now. I am so happy that the current US episode is likewise shown here. So while I am reading about noxycut review, I am likewise watching their videos online, including their appearance on Oprah’s show. Even my son expects that I’d watch Glee every night, as I have been having a marathon the previous days while I put him to sleep. And because of the show, I am thinking of giving my son a mohawk hairstyle. Is that allowed in big school?? :))
My Little Photographer.
He sometimes would say that he wants to be a photographer. He would usually play with this toy camera in school. At home, he would either use his dad’s big camera or mine. He would usually take pictures of his books and the images on them. Too bad, his toy camera broke so I have no choice but to let him use mine. I will soon get him a digital camera of his own, just the cheap one. I am currently looking at the digital cameras from Buy.com. Maybe I can ask a friend of mine abroad to get one for me.
Jollibee.
I thought I’d post something personal here. I haven’t uploaded our latest photos in my Flickr, so this one will do.
Jollibee made an appearance in my son’s birthday party in school last month. Good thing, our order was big enough to get the Jollibee appearance for free. {And because of this I got some extra funds to get some ceiling fans from Lightingshowplace.com and a few more little items for the house.} Anyway, I was a bit surprised though that the kids weren’t so excited when the adorable bee came into their classroom. Maybe it was because they were eating at that time. The kids warmed up to him after a while though. It was a simple party, yet the kids enjoyed it a lot.
