From where we stayed for a couple of days.

This Made Me Smile.

This made me smile {chuckle, actually} the other day. I was laughing so hard when I saw this photo. I wanted to post this earlier but unfortunately our internet connection was acting up again. Anyway she is Aggie’s pretty little princess, Martha. Pretty talaga ‘no? BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Catching Up.

I was offline for two days.

I am nursing a bad cold and a little fever.

I’ll reply to your messages soon.

Limited computer time.

First things first. ;)

I Am $100 Richer!

Thanks to Yen!

It was really a surprise. I joined Yen’s contest several weeks back but I wasn’t that hopeful because I know that a lot of bloggers will join the contest as well. Then I received an email from Yen earlier telling me that I won! And not just any prize. I am the grand winner! Yay!!! Indeed a very pleasant surprise.

Yen is such a generous pal. Here are her blogs.

Me and Mine
Creative In Me
Little Peanut
Pea in a Pod
Sugar Magnolias

Do visit her blogs regularly as she she frequently hosts contests with big prizes to boot.

Salamat Yen! Happy ako!

I’ll Get Back.

To you emails, comments and messages.

My internet connection is crawling.

I’m feeling under the weather, too. :(

More to come.

Need to finish tasks.

I miss my computer time.

I can only stay in the pc at night.

The day is for the family.

Marathon.

It’s a marathon once again. I have very limited computer time so I am trying to squeeze in as many stuff as I can when I have the time. I need to download the pictures from the camera, too. I also need to prepare the pictures that we need to have developed. I am also in search of affordable shower chairs for an older relative. So much to do, so little time.

Help-less.

We are help-less once again. We got her last week. She looked okay, though I was not fully convinced. I’m not sure but something’s telling me it’s not right. But we had her checked up still. Our doctor was really good, she was able to make people tell things that they would normally never tell us. Or in this case, I failed to ask. She smokes. And I forgot to ask her that before we brought her home. She was healthy, but she has a cough and the doctor prescribed her medicines. But she smokes and we don’t think she’s going to quit anytime soon. So we let her go yesterday. I wasn’t sad or disappointed. In fact I felt more at peace when she left. We survived several weeks on our own so I’m confident we can manage without help. And hopefully I’ll be able to squeeze a few hours of computer time so I can check some school girl costumes on the internet for a friend.

Some Updates.

First off, I am lazy. If not for the tasks, I’m not sure if I’m gonna update. I have a terrible backache. I’m not sure if it’s the chair I’m using.

The little boy had his first day of school yesterday. Opkors, pictures were taken. But I haven’t downloaded the pictures yet.

We have a new househelp. We still need to bring her to the doctor for checkup this weekend. I hope she’s healthy or else, I’ll be the helper again. She isn’t as smart as the previous helper, but pwede na rin siguro. We’ll see.

At Long Last.

Our car is here. No, it isn’t a new one. It’s our current car which stayed in the shop for more than a week. {Though it looks and smells new now. ;) } You wouldn’t believe what happened. I don’t want to elaborate anymore as I don’t want to remember it any longer. All I can say is we are safe and we are not in the car when it happened. It was unbelievable. Good thing, everything was paid for by the insurance.
