His Tree Is Up.
My son’s small Christmas tree is up. I think more than Christmas, he’s actually more excited to put up and arrange his tree. He actually didn’t want to remove them after Christmas last year and he has been looking forward to the day when he can finally put it up again. And to start the -ber months right, we now have a small Christmas tree up. Can you guess the theme? He is so crazy with Angry Birds, so I got him a bunch of cheap Angry Birds key chain to hang on his tree. And that is in addition to the toys and stickers and coloring books we already got him. I am thinking of getting him the iron-on Angry Birds so I can make some funny tee shirts for him to wear, too. I will share some photos once I have them uploaded in Flickr.

I finally found a very good purpose for the iPod touch. And that is to take pictures. We bring it most of the time, so why not put it to good use. I know, quality-wise, it’s not so good, some are even totally not scrap-worthy. But lately I am enjoying creating layouts using photos from the iTouch. {I am scrapping too much, I hardly have the time to get active. There are always fat burners anyway. 
} Anyway, main reason is the photos are already edited {I use mostly CameraBag} and that saves me tons of time. I aim for a simple, not-too-cluttered layout as I plan to put them in an everyday album – just random happenings, etc. I want them to look like something that I put together in a snap. {But no, I can never finish a page that quick.} Anyway, here’s one them.

The Ikea Catalog.
I have been drooling over the items at the 2012 Ikea catalog. A home doesn’t need to be big, just smart. That is what is said on the cover of the catalog and I love it. I have always wanted a small home so I know I would love everything they have on the catalog. Too bad, we don’t have an Ikea here though I know we have some resellers. I should probably give those stores a visit, and put their barcode scanners into good use and shop for some items. But on the second thought, I am doing a little decluttering. New stuff is definitely not welcome. For now.

Medicines And Lawsuits.
Do you have someone in the house who takes meds for diabetes? If so, I strongly suggest you give your medicine cabinet a visit. I just came across Actos and I have read some serious side effects of the said diabetes medicine. Recent studies show that the medicine may cause heart attack, heart failure and may even contribute to bladder cancer. If you know someone who might have been affected by the use of the said medicine, you can now file for an Actos lawsuit. This is something serious and quite scary, too. In fact, the medicine has already been pulled out from the markets of France and Germany.
