It has been a while since my last post. Blogging has taken a backseat, primarily because there isn’t much work. Add to that the fact that I am spending more time offline. It’s like back to basics and I surprisingly like it this way. I now have better sleeping habits. Scrapping has been slow, too. I never thought that grade school will be a lot of work, during exams week at least. Decided to go online now to check on parish clothing as I might be needing a few men’s gifts this month. I did check for some freebies, too. Good thing our connection is a little better, I am able to download these.

For his 6th birthday, DS got the gift that he has been wishing for. I really am not in favor of this as I think it’s a little too pricey for a birthday gift for a kid his age. But I have to admit that I am liking it now as it lessened the mess in the house. We don’t buy toys anymore as he’d rather buy a game for his iTouch. We got some educational games in there, too. And it gets him preoccupied. Hahaha! Maybe we can get an xbox next as I am hearing good feedbacks on zumba xbox 360. It’s fitness and fun in one.

Unique Gifts and Presents.
As early as now I am scouting for Christmas gifts. We plan to order them abroad, that is if I can find a really good deal, thus I need to allot several months for ordering and shipping. I want to give something a little special, but not really expensive, for DS’ teachers. They have been so nice and warm and welcoming to us and to DS especially. My brother and DH are likewise celebrating their birthdays this month, I am also looking for unique birthday gifts & personalized presents for them. Thanks to online shopping, I can shop at the comforts of our home.

Time for PE.
I love how DS looks in his PE uniform. Unlike his previous school where they wore jogging pants, in his new school the boys wear shorts. I match it with long white socks and he comes out looking like a soccer player. And speaking of the sport, enrolling him in a soccer clinic during the summer was one of my plans. I was all set to get him his uniform, soccer shoes and soccer ankle brace even. Oh yes, I did my research and found several good soccer supports for DS. Of course, safety is always a parent’s main concern. Too bad, that plan didn’t push through. But there is always next summer anyway.

Another one I made using a single kit. And it’s a free kit too. I am liking small kits lately, more than the huge stuffed kits. I find it easier to decide on what embellishments to use as there really aren’t much to choose from.
