How To Preserve Your Child’s Artwork.

I keep my son’s school artworks in a big plastic box. I still am not sure how I am going to handle them, if I am going to scan them, keep them all or just select a few favorites, frame them or whatever. Anyway while I was chatting {and surfing at the same time} with a friend about her need for a mesothelioma lawyer, I came across several ideas on how to preserve your kid’s artworks from Simple Scrapper. Hopefully this will help me.

Hang. Whether your immediate display area is a wall, fridge or bulletin, consider developing a habit of changing out artwork regularly.

Box. At minimum, any artwork you want to save should be initially filed in a box labeled by child and year, as appropriate.

Scan. Creating an electronic version of the art is the minimalist’s solution to clutter.

Share. I love how this teacher has scanned and shared his students’ artwork with their families and the rest of the world.

Frame.

Album.

One Love.

“One love refers to the universal love and respect expressed by all people for all people, regardless of race, creed, or color.”

Forty-eight designers from around the digi-community have joined together to bring us this incredible and huge kit with the common purpose of raising funds for Haitian aid and relief. The profits from the sale of this kit will be donated to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. This is a huge kit which includes 114 papers, 356 elements, 3 alphabets, 6 page templates and 1 hybrid template. This kit is available for a limited time only. I am so tempted to get this one. For one, I will be able to help in my own little way, plus I get to bring home this very loaded kit. I’ll just be reading about CONCERTA and ADHD Symptoms, then I will check out this kit again.

Anyway, you can get this kit here.

Ouch.

We have been munching on too much cashew nuts lately. I have been craving for it for the longest time and I couldn’t be happier when my SIL handed me a big pack of cashew nuts when we went to their place last weekend. Once I start, it is just so hard for me to stop eating. I guess, nuts aren’t so bad for the health, provided you are not suffering from arthritis. And speaking of arthritis, I just came across this New Way RA, an inspiring and informative talk show for people living with rheumatoid arthritis. I have several relatives who suffer from RA and I can’t wait to tell them about this.

Studio Peta Retirement Sale.

Thanks to a slightly faster connection speed, I am able to browse a few scrapbooking stores lately. Though I really don’t have an intention to buy, as I really am scrimping as I am wishing to buy a design furniture from BoConcept. Anyway, I came across a retirement sale of Peta Boardman over at Scrapbookgraphics. Everything on her shop is 50% off. Do check it out. The sale is until the 31st so better hurry.

Upgraded.

We have finally upgraded our internet connection. It is so much faster than before. And I can now happily upload photos and download files in a flash {exaggerating here hee-hee}. There are still a few times that it fails me though. But all in all, I am loving it. Plus DS never gets impatient anymore since his Youtube videos loads quickly. Of course, our monthly fee increased a bit but it’s alright. I am enjoying the speed so much that I even volunteered to help my cousin browse for medical assistant training school online. ;)
