Getting Ready For Christmas.

I am not yet ready. First, I haven’t put out our Christmas decorations yet. And after much thought, I decided to settle with our old decorations and not buy new ones this year. I haven’t bought a single gift for DS. It has been a tradition that we prepare several little gifts for him and maybe one big ticket item to open on Christmas. It is getting tricky as he gets old as he now knows what he wants. It’s a possibility he won’t play with the toy if he is not interested in it. I know, I should get him what he wants. The problem is these toys aren’t available from where I am and I need to order them abroad. Plus we are not spending so much this Christmas so his toys will have to wait till his birthday. I wonder if DS is old enough to appreciate an Outer Banks vacation instead. That way the whole family can enjoy it, as well.
