I wasn’t able to search and post freebies as our internet connection was down for 3 days. I guess I missed a lot of freebies. I was also in the process of browsing Christmas gifts for the family so now I’m back to window shopping once again. On my wish list are a mini laptop for me, iphone plus iphone accessories, a new bag probably and something for the camera. I am actually having a hard time looking for gifts for DS as we got most of his wishes already and her aunt is bringing them home next week. DH said that I should just hide most of items and wait till Christmas. As if that’s possible.

I haven’t seen my closest friends for the longest time. We still keep in touch via chat and email though. I was supposed to organize a get -together last year but wasn’t able to do so. I hope this year I can make time for that. A Halloween party will be a lot of fun, especially now that most of us have kids already. I really hope that our friends living abroad can make time for it. About Halloween.
My son’s school celebrates Halloween. As a mom, I try to take part in the school’s activities. So I signed up for the Party Committee. Come Holidays or any other special events in school, parents meet to discuss the program, activities and all other things needed. Since I am more of the crafty type, I would usually volunteer to do the Invitations, Announcements or anything art-related.

I am never fashionable. I try to be but I always tend to go with whatever’s more safe and simple. Aside from that, I am not so quick to make decisions. Let say I saw something at the mall. It will take me days and even weeks to decide if I should get the item or not. More often than not, the moment I decide to purchase the item, it will no longer be available. It’s just sad. But decisions just don’t come easy to me, especially if the budget is tight and it is a must that I choose the most reasonable.
I just came across this Fashion Polls and I got this really wonderful idea. Through the site, I can create my own fashion poll. In that way, I can see what item is preferred by more people thereby helping me make a better decision. I tried some of the polls in there and it was fun seeing the results, most especially when I was able to choose the one that was chosen by most people. It’s like an affirmation that I am not that bad and maybe a little knowledgeable when it comes to fashion. Try it and create your own poll. It is fun.

DH’s birthday is coming up real soon. As always, he does not want anything for himself on that day. We are probably just going to eat out. It’s a weekday so we are bringing DS to school first then we will have lunch out afterwards and probably go malling in the afternoon. I already got him a watch a few months back. We also got a compact flash for the new camera he is planning to purchase. So I thought of putting back to life his favorite watch. He hasn’t worn the watch for a long time already because its band broke. We searched the mall for an appropriate strap but we didn’t find any. I have always been interested in anything about the home. I am subscribed to tons of blogs about home, interior design and the likes and I truly enjoy going through each and every blog. I love learning new ideas for the house, discovering a new gadget and finding new inspirations.
I recently came across Charles Neal Interiors and I spent a lot time going through the site. I went through the portfolio and I was impressed and even inspired to have our home renovated as well. The portfolio was impressive, it includes personal homes of popular pop artists and musical writers. They offer several custom design services like furniture layout, kitchen and bath design, lighting and artwork and more. I can only dream that the group can redesign our humble home.
