Bebots/Twitter Party.
The party was a lot of fun. It was indeed a grand EB for the Bebots/Twitter pals. Trinity who came home from US for a vacation generously funded this party. We had it at BSA Towers in Makati last April 17. I didn’t bring my camera though as I know most of them would bring theirs. Plus we were running late for DS’s school that morning, I really didn’t have much time to prepare my things. And oh we had a chocolate fountain and I couldn’t get enough of it. I just wish I could have stayed longer. Next time.

There is a store-wide sale happening at {we are} storytellers, and it’s the right time to stock up on our supplies. I know, I haven’t been scrapping in a long while but I will check the store still. After all, it’s only during the sale season that I do shop, both online and real life. But I will be checking for some natural appetite suppressants online first before anything else. Happy shopping!

Oh Well.
Just when I am set to go to the beach, the resort we called doesn’t have an available room for our preferred dates. It is mostly DH who wants to go the beach more than me, though. Looks like summer left already so I am not that excited to hit the beach anymore. Or maybe we can try to look for other nice but affordable hotels. Or maybe not. After all, I highly doubt if we would allow DS to swim with this kind of weather.

Skirts and Dresses.
I have been wearing skirts again. It’s summer here and I feel comfortable in skirt. Just a little variation from my usual cut-off jeans get-up. Or maybe, when I have the time, I can try to sew one for me. My new sewing machine has been with me for weeks now but I still haven’t used it yet. I tried it when it came, but haven’t have the chance to explore it fully. Anyway, I plan to buy myself a few skirts, too. That is, if I still have the budget. I have to pay my son’s school tuition first before shopping for myself. I would also love to have those summer dresses, both the long ones and the short, which I see in the malls now. I also love this Vera Wang dress I stumbled upon StyleHive.com.
It is so simple yet looks so elegant. I love the combination of colors, the pink with coffee tone. The sequin embellishment adds a sparkle to it. And the best part, it is a slip dress and not as fit. I really can see myself wearing this. If only I can find an occasion to wear this dress. I have been seeing a lot of nice clothes from StyleHive lately and my wish list is growing.

About Clothes.
I stay home most of the time. The only times I get to go out of the house are when I bring my son to school, when I do errands and sometimes when I meet with friends. So when I go to the mall and buy clothes for myself, they are most of the time clothes that I would wear in the house. It has been a habit to update my house clothes every so often. Of course, I still want to look nice even if I just stay home. Sometimes, I even prefer my clothes to match. And more than that, I also prefer comfortable clothes. Comfy is my first consideration. Pajamas when it’s cold, but it is shorts and a comfy top most of the time. I also have a few cotton loose dresses. I saw this American Eagle dress and I think I want it. It is made of the softest cotton, it has a scoop neck and it is loose fit. This is so perfect with the weather we have here. And it is not only comfy, I think it looks cute, too. And it’s affordable too. I want to get some in different colors. And while at it, I might grab myself some shorts to match as well.
