Yesterday.
We were at my in-law’s place yesterday. We dropped by their place before heading to Makati to buy the camera lens. As usual, DS immediately looked for his toys. The toys actually belong to DS’ older cousins. SIL kept them and DS is now the one playing with them. Most of the toys I think were our gifts to the little kids so it’s a good thing that SIL was able to keep them. Aside from the cars, DS spent most of his time playing with the little pool table. He enjoys shooting the little balls on the holes using the little pool stick. I guess it would be nice if we can have a big pool table in the house, not that I know how to play it. But maybe the boys and a few friends will enjoy playing with it. Though I saw some very cute Pool Cue sticks at PoolDawg. They come in different colors such as hot pink, midnight black and designs, like roses, hearts, butterflies and more. I never thought this game has such items for women. PoolDawg has everything you need about pool. They also offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee, wherein you can either return or refund the item if you aren’t satisfied with it. And if you are like me who can’t wait to have your items on hand, they offer a same day shipping and a free ground shipping for orders over $75.

The Best Cure.
The internet has always been my source when I am feeling sick and I want to check symptoms and the appropriate cures. But that was before. There are so much information on the internet that I can not distinguish which is right and which isn’t. It is still best to go to your doctor to determine whatever’s bothering you. Plus, taking in so much unnecessary information might add more stress and thus make us more sick. I have read that if we are stressed out it is more likely for us to get sick. It is therefore important that we consciously make an effort to be happy and take care of ourselves. I chanced upon this book on personal growth that is guaranteed to make us smarter, healthier and happier in 15 days.
I think we can get a lot of helpful information from this book. If you are trying to find the best cure for ailments and treatment for symptoms, head over to The Amen Clinics program of Dr Daniel Amen. Get to know more about him through this other Dr Amen profile.

Getting Fit and Healthy.
I have been neglecting my diet. I have been trying my very best to watch my food intake for some time now. However, I was really craving for something sweet a few days ago and I bought myself some ice cream. And it didn’t stop there. We have been feasting on ice cream for a few days now. I don’t want to check my weight as I know I am going to be disappointed. It has always been like this, I lose a few pounds then I gain them all back again. I do need some self-control and determination to eat healthy and live healthy. But when it comes to vitamins and supplements, I am proud to say that I don’t miss a day without taking those. And I have reading about some good supplements, like the Omax3. This supplement contains Fish oil omega 3 fatty acids which is said to be the “essential” fatty acids (EFA). Getting this from fish, such as mackerel, tuna and salmon is not actually the best choice as these contain high levels of mercury. So omega-3 supplements is the way to go as these are free from environmental contaminants. Moreover, omega-3 is said to have an important role in body’s cognitive, cardiovascular, central nervous system, immune, joint and metabolic function. Omax3 is regarded as the best choice when it comes to omega-3 supplements. They conducted a freezer test of the current omega-3 supplements in the market. It came out that these products just contained lard and may be harmful to the body, whereas Omax provides one of the highest levels of purity having 1500 mg of 91% pure fish oil per capsule.

Si Barney!

Kuha ito noong nanood kami ng concert ni Barney noong Disyembre 2007. {This was taken during the Barney concert last December 2007.}
Syempre, dapat naka-lila din ang anak ko. {Of course, my son went to the concert wearing a purple shirt.}

Sigh.
Times are hard. Gone are the days when people can just splurge on unnecessary things. This global crisis is truly making most of us tighten our belts. Seems like everyone is trying to be conscious on their spending and buying only the stuff that they need. They said that you should at least have four to six months of your current spending set aside on your savings, in order for your family to survive in case you lose your job. This will also give you enough time to look for a new work. DH is a bit worried too and currently looking for side projects that can augment the income.
I, on the other hand, am likewise searching the internet for other opportunities to earn money online. I came across this online business network and it does look interesting. One worthy of note is Stone Evans. An authority in home business opportunity ideas and home improvement franchise, Stone Evans aims to help individuals earn online. Find more information about this through Stone Evans’ profile. I will look into this.

Get In Touch.
After a long time, I finally got it touch with my friend who is based in the US. Understandably, she has been very busy, most especially during this time. She has a family to support, thus she needs to be serious with her work. Good thing, they changed their telecom services to Spectrotel. Aside from the local phone service as well as long distance service, it also has high speed DSL internet connection. And therefore, we were able to get in touch. Their connection is so much faster than their previous dial-up service.
In case you are interested, Spectrotel also offers residential phone service, business phone service, audio conferencing and unlimited calling plans and calling cards, to name a few. Check them out as they are currently having special offers on phone services. For more technical details on VOIP reviews and phone service comparisons, head over to the profile of a new jersey phone company Spectrotel. You can also find another profile of Spectrotel here.
