Saturday 9: Holiday Cheer.

Saturday 9: Holiday Cheer.

1. Does the holiday season stress you out? If yes, how do you cope?
Not really. I enjoy the rush actually, though I did differently this year. I planned and shopped for gifts a bit early to avoid the crowd and the rush and to enjoy the holidays more. (Now I have more time to think if we indeed need to buy a HDTV.)

2. Are you ever so busy in December that you have to force yourself to chill?
No. I love December for so many reasons.

3. Do you sleep well at this time of year?
Not so much.

4. Have you ever taken a sleigh ride? If yes, tell us about it.
No.

5. Do you live close to the parts of your family you spend the holidays with?
No. But we drive to their place on Christmas day.

6. What will you have for Christmas dinner?
I’m not sure yet. My IL’s will be here so I leave the food to them. But I think we are just going to order food out.

7. Do you diet after the holidays?
Yes. ;)

8. What’s the best part of the season for you?
Mostly the atmosphere, everyone’s cheery and happy and generous.

9. How many generations of your family get together during the holidays?
Just the current. We don’t normally have reunions.

Quite a few. ;)

5. What would you like to learn more about?
Taking pictures.

I can’t remember if it was a birthday or an anniversary.

7. Have you told your Mom and Dad, lately, how much you love and appreciate them?

I Need A Vacation.

DS has a three-week break from school and I am so looking forward for some rest and relaxation, too. Finally we have a few weeks of not waking up early and rushing to school. DS school starts quite early that’s why we are usually on a rush every morning. Anyway, I have been looking around for romantic vacations to see if I can find one to fit our budget. I saw this jamaica all inclusive resort, and their beach was truly breathtaking. From the 7-mile beach, to the caves, and waterfalls and springs, there are tons of activities to enjoy there. You can even choose from a selection of venues if you planning caribbean weddings. And as their gift to the new bride and groom, they can provide a simple and classic wedding for free. However, if you are dreaming of a bigger wedding, their wedding planners and specialists are there to help make your dream wedding come true. And from what I read, their packages are quite affordable, too.

Data Management.

Tomorrow is DS’ school party and program and I plan to hit the sack earlier than usual to prepare the things we need to bring to school. But I need to check the Data Management Software from Syncsort first. A colleague was telling me about the software and said that they’re company is considering it. It is from Syncsort which has been known to provide high-performance software for data protection and management, so I believe it is a wise choice. Plus their products are being used in more than 50 countries so excellence and superior service is unquestionable. I have read good feedback on Syncsort and they are also named as one of the top Data Warehouse 100 Vendors for seven straight years. This I got to share with my colleague.

Meet Spongebob.

DS in into activity books, writing and drawing nowadays. He isn’t as interested in coloring books anymore unlike before. He loves to draw and has been copying pictures from his posters. Here is a sample of one of his drawings. Meet Spongebob. That funny-looking creature on the left is Mickey Mouse. Can you see the resemblance? :)

meet spongebob and mickey.

The photos above were taken at Rack’s while we were having our lunch. We have been eating out a lot lately and I’m getting worried that I might resort to Leptovox to lose all these added weight from eating out. But we have a 3-week break and I will take that time to serve and eat healthier meals.

The Snow Test.

Your Snow Test Says You’re Agreeable

You feel like something good will happen to you in the next few days.

You love to work, especially when work is creative. You have the makings of a successful artist.

You are a cooperative, agreeable person. You enjoy the company of others, and you enjoy compromising for the good of the group.

Your biggest worry in life is your family. You stay up at night thinking about them.

When it comes time to relax, you have no problem letting go. You are already pretty relaxed as is!
