This Has To Stop.

I have been looking at several computer desks at the mall. It has been weeks and I am still undecided what to get. Oh yes, it is not so easy to decide when you have a very limited budget. I think I will just settle with my current table. And it’s Christmas. I can’t believe I have been spending a lot lately. This is so bad. This has to stop. But I want those books. Glo, make them fit. Please. :)

Black Friday Sale.

Taking advantage of sales everywhere. Oh yes, I am buying scrapping kits again, though I am not scrapping. I am not spending much. I just can’t let a good sale pass.

Questions of the Week 41.

qotw.jpg

1. Does your age make you feel left out?
Not really. I feel younger and I look younger {I think}, than my real age.

2. How do people of the same gender as you but taller than yourself make you feel?
That I am not so tall?

3.When did you last scream? Why?
Yesterday? Or was it today? Of course it’s all about DS. I think he kept on touching the computer CPU while it was being fixed by DH. Our old PC is giving us a headache. We don’t know what’s wrong with it, if it’s the HD or the computer memory. I just hope it’s not the motherboard as I don’t want to spend on a new PC whose sole purpose is DS’ gaming station.

4. What do other people do that irritate you that you recognize it as a weakness in yourself?
Group of friends talking so loud. I can be so loud too when I’m with friends.

5. Have you ever slipped on a banana peel?
I’m not sure. I can’t recall.

6. Have you ever walked around someone else’s home barefoot?
No.

7. What do you do when you are left home alone?
I usually do some cleaning, cooking or whatever that is easier to do when the house is empty.

8. When someone is vague or confusing, how do you process it?
I don’t process it if I’m not interested.

9. Typically, when someone says to you: “I’ll be five minutes”, how long do they actually take?
If it’s my friends, it’s way MORE than 5 minutes.

10. For you, what is the best word in the English language?
I don’t know.

A Show For Christmas.

I am looking for a show or concert for little kids where we can bring the little boy. Last year we saw Barney. There is another Barney concert this December but I prefer to see a different show. I am hoping there will be Disney on Ice come December. I have been browsing for shows when I stumbled upon ShowsLasVegas.com. Las Vegas is known for its amazing shows and the site is a great help to anyone looking for a Vegas show to watch. Various Las Vegas Shows are listed on the site with detailed descriptions plus photos. Choosing a show is made simple and you can likewise secure your ticket in advance as most shows sell out on a nightly basis.

His Bling-bling.

For someone who doesn’t want to put any accessories on, even a hat, it was a surprise that DS enjoyed wearing these garlands. I did help him put these on. And I hated untangling them. I just didn’t have the patience for these things.

Questions of the Week 40.

1. What measures have you taken to cut back expenses?
I don’t buy on impulse. Sometimes, it takes me a long time to decide that by the time I went to the store, the item is already gone. And I spend only on things I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY love. Otherwise, I always choose a more reasonably-priced alternative.

2. Have you ever bought a book and used the receipt as a bookmark?
I think I have done that on the very few books I’ve purchased.

3. Can you recall any traumatic, embarrassing or troubling events as a child that
you still remember vividly? If so, care to share?
I was in Grade 1. The school grounds were wet as it was drizzling then I slipped. And everytime I tried to stand, I would just slip all over again. Good thing, an older student helped me. My brother saw what was happening from afar, though he didn’t recognize me, and he was laughing his a** off. He only realized it was me when I told my mommy what happened. Yeah, he enjoyed it more.

4. What is the strangest question you have ever been asked at a job interview?
None.

5. Does it make you uncomfortable if a woman is breastfeeding her baby in public?
Not really.

6. Do you know anyone who has an unpredictable temper? Who?
That will be ME! ;)

7. What did you have to learn “the hard way”?
I’ll pass on this one. ;)

8. Have you ever been dishonest about the origin of a bruise?
No.

9. Have you ever gotten any kind of envelope in the mail without the senders return address? Did you found out who it was from?
Those solicitation letters.

10. It’s our 40th QOTW. I am giving away something. Can you tell me why should I give it to you? It’s just a little something to spice up this little Meme!
Because I’m early this week. You know I’m always late. :)

Tis The Season.

I started hanging the tree ornaments four days ago and I only finished this afternoon. I have been putting it off for days as I get tired just by looking at all the trimmings that I need to hang. I do have a little helper, but he enjoys messing with the decors than hanging them. Then there’s the diet pills I need to look at. Here are some photos of us hanging the ornaments.
