It was a Mercedes Benz. Our bridal car, that is. It was an old model, painstakingly restored by the owner. He even goes abroad just to look for parts. That car was one of the very few restored and running cars of that model in the world, and if I’m not mistaken, the only one in the Philippines. I was glad to have found it featured in a newspaper while we were planning the wedding. We immediately called the owner and set up an appointment. The owner even drove us around their village to show us the car. And come wedding day, he was the one who drove it for me. It was truly a good find. People in the church were even having their picture taken beside the car. It was indeed a very exquisite car. No wonder, those well-to-do have a Mercedes. I would like to have one too if only we have the funds for it. Just look at New Mercedes DC and you are going to love all those cars. It’s In The Shop.
We have been using my brother’s car for more than a week now. Our car needed some maintenance and was left in the shop for a few days. The brother’s car is still with us as we need to return our car to the shop again for some repairs this time. A very unfortunate thing happened a few weeks back thus the repair. Accidents do happen even if you are just sitting there doing nothing. Thanks to my brother’s car as we have a spare car to use in times like these. The car is a fairly old car but still performs very well. From the nice features it has, surely it was one of the high-end models during its time. It is so much like a new or even a used Mazda with features and power so much like the famous and high-end car models out there. Even if it is a used Mazda, you can count on its great performance plus a very attractive package that without a doubt beats other imports for total value. Appreciating Our Past.
It is easy to be negative about past mistakes and unhappiness. But it is much more healing to look at ourselves and our past in the light of experience, acceptance, and growth.
Our past is a series of lessons that advance us to higher levels of living and loving. The relationships we entered, stayed in, or ended taught us necessary lessons.
Some of us have emerged from the most painful circumstances with strong insights about who we are and what we want. Our mistakes? Necessary. Our frustrations, failures, and sometimes stumbling attempts at growth and progress? Necessary too. Each step of the way, we learned. We went through exactly the experiences we need to, to become who we are today. Each step of the way, we progressed. Is our past a mistake? No. The only mistake we can make is mistaking that for the truth.
Today, God, help me let go of negative thoughts I may be harboring about my past circumstances or relationships. I can accept, with gratitude, all that has brought me to today.
This is nice. Works for me. No, I’m not telling anything. 
Sleepy.
I want to stay up longer but I am so sleepy already. I need to do a few things, like look into some beer pong tables and write about some stuff. But my mind doesn’t like to cooperate. I find myself blog hopping and surfing the net and watching TV instead. I’ll just check a few things then I’m off to hit the sack.

Surfing For Cars.
We are checking out some cars in the internet. No, we are not buying a car. We are just checking out their prices as we would like to know if the car we are dreaming of buying is within our means. I am torn between a big family car and a small car. With the prices of gas getting higher every day, we are seriously thinking if we should switch to a smaller car as it consumes less gas than the big ones. Oh well, we don’t have a budget as of the moment so I will just cross the bridge when I get there. For now, I’ll just enjoy surfing for cars in the internet. I like the new GMC Sierra truck. The truck is roomy and it is exceptionally quiet, too. It has innovations like improved aerodynamics and Active Fuel Management. Then there’s the GMC Canyon. This is nice as it comes in three handy cab sizes, so you can choose which fits your needs best. You can find more GMC trucks at New GMC Manchester NH. Aside from Sierra and Canyon, they also have Savana, Envoy, Arcadia and Yukon. There are so many choices. For now I’ll just settle with our current family car.

Car Talk.
Do you have a dream car? I do. I want an SUV. Any brand will do, as long as it is a big car. My dad had always wanted a Toyota Camry. Sadly though, he was never able to realize that dream. At least he was able to get himself a Corolla, and a brand new one at that and I must say he was happy with that car. Having a brand new car is a big thing for us as we are not well-off, though I must say that we lived a blessed life. Anyway, he must have seen his dream car in Toyota Camry Virginia when he went to the US a few years back. Some very nice relatives took care of him there and brought him to various places. The new technologies introduced by Toyota are just amazing, like the Advanced Parking Guidance System (automatic parking), an eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-speed electronically controlled automatic with buttons for power and economy shifting. No wonder Toyota is a popular choice. He has been telling me about it and said that he wanted to get himself a Camry one day. If only I can afford it, I would have bought him the car at once.
